I Don’t Think I Can Stop Smoking

A lot of smokers… no wait! Let me rephrase that…thousands of smokers who want to stop smoking and who have tried dozens of, if not more, times to quit smoking and have failed time and time again, need to get one important thing into their heads that even if they have tried and failed to stop smoking a thousand times, they will always have another opportunity (unless it’s too late) and they will ALWAYS be able to stop smoking regardless even if they think they are doomed to oblivion and will spend the rest of their lives as a professional smoker.

Let me recap that paragraph in simple terms…

If you are a smoker ….YOU CAN STOP SMOKING!!!

Please if you are one of these people… if anything at this moment in your life, at least just register that red message above in bold letters into your brain and eliminate what you may have been thinking in the past with that fact…again. for the non-believers….YOU CAN QUIT SMOKING!!!

If millions of people around the world over the last 30 years have successfully stopped smoking, then wake up and smell the coffee because they are not, or were not, superhuman, nor did they get lucky. They were, or are, EXACTLY BUILT just like you, with two arms, two legs, two eyes etc etc. Even you one legged, one eyed, one armed people listen up too.

All they (Successful Ex-Smokers) did was wake up and realise that what they were doing was not (obviously) benefiting them whatsoever and they realised that their life was not theirs but it was the tobacco companies and they decided to put a stop to that, possibly educate themselves a little and then easily walk away from nicotine addiction and become an ex-smoker forever.

I always say this because it’s truer than the blue sky…unless you educate yourself why you smoke, and find that true desire to give your life back to you, then you will not become an ex-smoker. That is the key. But thats not my only point here. The main point is the red writing above.

Of course too, it is possible that there are other facts that contribute to being successful (like the great support on this website)  but the be all, end all, is what I said above. Education and desire. Period!

When a countless failed “stop smoking attempts smoker” has it in their brain that it’s over, and succumbs to the illusion and just can’t see the open door, then this is solely because of the no knowledge they have and this just creates the pathetic excuse ridden fear that makes them quit trying to stop smoking. It is a huge shame that this fear overpowers the poor smoker and controls them until it’s too late.

But it doesn’t have to be this way!

Every smoker or “just stopped smoking smoker” who is reading this article must accept a couple of things before they push open that “already open prison door” and become free.

They are as follows:-

·     Never for one minute think that you cannot stop smoking.

·     That millions of people from all walks of life are now ex-smokers so you must believe that it’s possible for even YOU to quit smoking!! Believe it now!

·     That you must go through some changes in your life, personally, physically and mentally. And get this…these changes are all so easy that you can’t give any excuse not to achieve them….lets start with a change that scares the living cr*p out of thousands of smokers who want to break free from the nicotine addiction gala.

·     Disillusioned Smokers think that they are going to die or suffer, or won’t cope with life from withdrawal bouts. Hilarious!! Sorry. but it is.

You will NOT suffer any withdrawal pangs that are going to be painful. I really wish I could kick the bu**s of any person that has said they suffered terribly from withdrawal symptoms. What a load of puppydoo!!

Yes !! Of course there will be a sensation that something is missing. That something is called poison-addiction-slavery. That very same thing you have been toxicating your body and the bodies of the people around you too by lighting up a cigarette each time. This is addiction and to counter addiction you must go through a change physically and that change is bearly noticable unless…you make it noticeable. It’s true. Hard to believe coz you are still a smoker but the pathetic dramatics are your choice.

The needing of a cigarette is by no means painful NO PAIN WHATSOEVER!!!..When you do stop smoking of course you will want a cigarette because that’s what you have been doing day in day out…but now it changes…You’re playing a new ball game that you are gonna win right? I suffer more when I don’t have breakfast. So eliminate that puppydoo old wives tale right now! There is only fear if you create it. Period. If the feeling to need-want-smoke-eat a cigarette becomes a fight for you then…

·     a. You were the one who started the fight by allowing it to annoy you.

·     b. You are prolonging it by thinking it’s a fight. Its freedom!!!
The longer you do this then the longer…hey , do I need to say it?

That’s probably (Including the missing education) where you kept going wrong in the past. If you allow it to be a burden then you will get what you ordered.

Or ….You can do the opposite and finally quit smoking and quit smoking forever. And the opposite is easy and painless. I promise. I have been free for over 2 years now and I never suffered once. Even when my Mother passed away last year I never smoked because I was educated  that cigarettes don’t help sh*t. They only cause it.

Of course when you stop using cigarettes the drug monster inside you will come a knocking’ but he’s the least of your problems I promise. Go get ya a new life that you deserve and scr*w the tobacco companies back because that’s what they have been doing to you all along with your loving caring governments present and past..

It’s true that….

You will feel like something is missing- But that is not painful.
You will feel that something is changing inside-That is your body saying thank you and its not painful.
You will feel that you want a cigarette-That’s the addiction that’s killing you. But it’s not painful.
You will feel that you wont be able to have a life without cigarettes-That’s just the evil illusion that the tobacco companies-media-other failed smoker are brainwashing you with…But dont worry. intelligence and common sense is not painful either.

I never once doubted my capacity to cope with any changes that occurred when I “Woke Up” and finally quit smoking forever because I knew that different feelings were coming and  I COULD DEAL WITH IT REGARDLESS BECAUSE I KNEW IT WAS NOT PAINFUL.

After 5 days ….well we know the rest of the story.

Good Luck

How can I stop smoking cigarettes?I seriously think I will develop cancer in a few years if I don't stop?
I’ve smoked so many cigarettes in my life-I’m finding it very difficult to stop! The thing is,I know it’ll kill me if I don’t stop, due to the amount of fags I smoke!
    I’m 34 years old,I’m worried I could develop cancer in my 40′s or 50′s if I don’t stop now-been a smoker since high school.

Guess what? YOU WILL DIE. CIGARETTES WILL KILL YOU.

Can’t think of anything else – if the thought of death won’t put you off then what else is there? Your knob will fall off? You will be attractive to gays? You will be sent to East Europe to live?

    What more do you want?

Don’t worry, i’ll do my best to get you through this…
So your a smoker, and i take it you’ve been doing it for awhile now. First thing first, you have to realise that the habit is beatable, your willpower itself can overcome a mere peice of compact chemicals.

You need to do this: See if you can go without a cigarette for one day, if you succeed with that, then try and bump it up to two days, then 3 days and so on and so forth. If that doesnt work look up some of the long term effects of smoking…

…Thats sure to get your head out of the smokers sand.

The fact that you use the word ‘fags’ lets me know that you are British. The National Health Service has tailor-made give-up-smoking plans. Just ask your GP or watch out for the adverts on the television and phone the number they give at the end of the ad. This is much better than trying to go it alone as you will have support and advice aimed at your particular difficulties with giving up.
Good luck on your way to getting smoke free, it ain’t easy, but it’s worth it.

I found the best way to quit smoking is PERMANENT quit.No nicotine substitutes or anything else that contains nicotine. If you use substitutes, nicotine still stay in your blood and that will increase your fatigue and stress levels. But once nicotine leaves your body you will feel good again.During the quitting period, even one cigarette can make you a smoker again,so just say no.Apart from that, most people who quit it without substitutes, are the ones who don’t start smoking again.

I smoked many cigarettes a day, more than a pack a day and I quit it with this method. The first 2-3 days were hard,I had increased stress etc.But after that I felt great.I had some pains before quitting that left and I had the energy to do many things I couldn’t,like exercise, walk etc.

EDIT:I know that smokers are not touched by the fact that smoking kills cause we think that everyone dies anyway. But I’ll tell you that. It’s the quality of life you gain by quitting, you smell better, taste better,I even found that some foods were more tasteful than before. It was great!

You should give it a try with a binaural beat recording for addiction.

A Binaural Beat stimulates the core of your subconscious by altering the frequencies in your mind. This recording will weed out the negative footprint that has been set which is holding you back. With a clear conscious, you will be able to focus on exactly what you really want (to be addiction free) without the hindrance of the negativity that your conscious holds on to.

Look for the "Addiction Help" Recording on the left of the page. Good Luck & hope you quit soon! Cheers!

First off, you are addicted, probably not so much to the chemicals, but more to the "act" of smoking. The act of smoking has been a part of you life so long now that "quitting" would be like a divorce, death of a close family member or even losing a limb from your body in the mind.

I smoked for 25 years, tried the patches, gums, hypnotist and all of the normal cessation devices. and failed every time. Since then, I have learned that less than 2% ever quit perm. This is a sad fact considering the medical technology we have these days.

I ran across the e cigarette (you can see one here http://www.ecigarettesnational.com ). I bought one and have not smoked a regular cigarette since (now over 90 days). This is not the amazing part. Since it worked for me, I bought another and gave it to a friend of mine, same exact results. I have since then gave out a total of 6 and 5 of the 6 have totaly quit and the 6th person is only smaoking about 3 regular cigarettes a day from 2 packs a day.

This is the only thing I have found that really works. I know, it is only 6, but the numbers look great. You may want to check them out.
