Trying to stop smoking? Trying to quit smoking? Trying to cut back on smoking? Yeah that was me too. I tried everything under the sun hypnosis, the patch, chewing gum and even cold turkey. And I’ll tell you that when it comes to trying to stop smoking, cold turkey is the most fun. I’ve been able to quit from 2 to 5 months at a time. I can’t tell you how many New Year’s resolutions I had, I know it has to be over 20 that I totally failed at. But now with E cigarettes I might not have totally quit but I’m not killing myself near as fast. That’s the way I look at it. I have cut my smoking back by 80% off regular cigarettes. So not only am I saving a huge amount of money but I am also saving my lungs and all the people around me. I recommend Tropical Breeze International their website is www.Ecigarettestoreonline.com and they give out some really great deals and definitely watch for their e-mails because you never know what they’re going to be given away.

Are you looking for E. cigarettes?  Well, you’re at the right place!   I recommend trying Tropical Breeze International their website is www.Ecigarettestoreonline.com they’ve been very nice and they have great service so I can’t complain. Keep your eye out for their e-mails because they’ll send out special deals from time to time and they’re usually really good deals.

How do I get a loved one to give up smoking?

Have just entered into a new relationship with a chap who has smoked for a long time – says about 8/10 oer day. He has health ‘issues’ and says he will give up as soon as the stresses he is experiencing in his life at the moment have eased up he will be in a stronger frame of mind and be able to cut down/give up…..

I have begged two of my brothers to give it up for years. The other two gave it up when our father died of cancer.

Well, when the oldest was diagnosed with cancer a few months asgo. He gave it up immediately. Of course, we are waiting for him to die. The chemotherapy was not successful.

The other one still smokes. I guess he will stop when he also gets cancer. Good luck to you.

Anyone give any sound tips?
I desperately want to give up, but it is tremendously difficult

I gave up 6 months ago. It really is mind over matter. There are no miracle drugs or patches that will stop you.
Try this:
Write down all the benefits to giving up smoking. There are hundreds.
Keep the list with you at all times. Every time you feel like a ciggy, have a look at the list.
Do loads of cardio vascular excercise too. It’ll feel like somebody is scraping your lungs with a broken bottle at first, but as the weeks go by and your lungs start to clear, you will notice a huge difference.
You have to look at it as more than just giving up smoking. More a change of lifestyle, a new cleaner, healthier you that no longer has to nip outside a restaurant in the freezing cold to light up.
Smoking is about the worst thing we can do to ourselves. There are absolutely no benefits to it, it doesn’t relax us, it doesn’t make us look cool, sexy, hard etc….
It’s a waste of money and it will kill you.

Does anyone have good tips to give up smoking?

I;m 9 weeks pregnant and really want to give up this habit i know it’s no good for me or the baby, my partner smokes too and we both would love to give up before this baby is born, in ny first pregnancy i went off smoking altogether the smell made me sick, but this time i feel i’m smoking more and i seriously want to give up but don’t know how, i have tried chewing gum and rang smokeline but it hasn’t helped, can anyone help please?

I’m having the same problem – I quit smoking the day I found out I was pregnant with my first child but I have been unable to stop with this one. I cannot stand seeing pregnant women smoking and I am not enjoying smoking, but I cannot stop. I have cut down to 5 a day which my midwife said is really good seeing as though I smoked 20 a day before – but I want to cut the last 5 cigarettes out altogether.
I’m 17 weeks which is frightening – because it is my responsibility to make this baby healthy and not feed it toxins. Have you tried nicotine patches because I know they still realise nicotine, but they don’t put any other of the toxins in your body that a cigarette does.
Be strong and remember why you are quitting. It does get easier, as I said, I’m still smoking around 5 a day but I am reducing the amount every time and I cannot wait to say that I’m a non-smoker.
Good luck and I wish you all the best. Its very difficult but you sound like you haev the willpower to do it.
